Digital Locker- Digi Locker Programme is launched by Prime Minister of India on July 1, 2015. It is an Important part of Digital India Programme. Digital Locker is a Web Based Programme in Which You Can Store your Important Document i.e. Birth Certificate, Passport, Academic Certificate etc.
Now You need not to carry Key documents anywhere, You can see your Documents Anytime and Anywhere if you have Internet facility. For Example- If you want to Apply your Pan Card, then you can Share your Documents online from Digital locker or If you are applying online Form for Government job, then you can verify your documents online from Digital Locker after sharing the Documents.
So, the most beneficial point is that You need not to Upload Your Documents again and again for different needs. You also need not to always carry your documents i.e. Driving License, Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Pollution Certificate etc while driving. CBSE Students also need not to carry CBSE Marksheet/ Certificate anywhere, they can also Share Documents online through DigiLocker.
You can also use your Digital Locker where you have to upload your Documents and where have to send your documents so you can share your Digital locker. For taking the advantage of this facility, you should have a digital Account. In this Digital Account, your User ID and Password will be your own. You can open it anytime and can get Benefits of DigiLocker Account.
